About the event

A Senior Sustainability Engineer at Foster + Partners in London, UK, specialising in infrastructure resilience and climate change adaptation.

A civil engineer with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, his work focuses on improving the resilience, safety, and inclusivity of urban infrastructure.


Juan is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with international experience delivering sustainability and resilience projects for clients including the World Bank, EBRD, Network Rail,and Heathrow Airport.


He currently serves as the UK Young Professional Representative to PIARC's Climate Resilience Technical Committee and is a CIHT Tech Champion in Climate Resilience. He was also the president of the University of Cambridge Colombian Society.
